Brickify, Inc. ("Brickify," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the Brickify mobile applications, browser extension, and website (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here and in our Terms of Service.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to information processed by Brickify through the Services. It does not apply to third-party products, marketplaces, or services that have their own privacy practices, including Apple, Whop, and the rights holders and data providers referenced in the Services.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account information.If you create an account using Sign in with Apple or another supported method, we receive basic identifiers such as a name or email (or Apple's private relay email). Creating an account is not required to use Brickify's core scanning features.
- Images and scans. Photos and camera input you capture or upload so we can identify LEGO® sets, minifigures, and parts; Pokémon cards; and Magic: The Gathering cards.
- Collection data. Items, quantities, conditions, notes, and other catalog or portfolio details you choose to enter.
- Support communications. Information you provide when you contact us, such as your email address and the contents of your message.
2.2 Payment information
If you subscribe in the app, Apple processes your payment under its terms and we receive your subscription status, not your card details. If you subscribe on our website, our payment provider, Whop, creates an account for you and collects the information needed to process the transaction, such as your email and billing details. We receive confirmation of your subscription status so we can grant access to premium features; we do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
2.3 Information collected automatically
- Device information such as device type, operating system, and app version;
- Anonymous usage data, diagnostics, crash reports, and performance metrics; and
- Subscription status reported through the Apple App Store.
Our website does not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers. We do not collect precise geolocation.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, and improve the scanning, identification, cataloging, and pricing features;
- develop, train, fine-tune, evaluate, and improve our and our providers' machine-learning and artificial-intelligence models, as described in Section 4;
- display item details such as names, images, set or card data, and estimated market pricing;
- manage accounts, subscriptions, and premium features;
- maintain security, monitor performance, and prevent fraud and abuse;
- respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Services; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
4. AI and Machine-Learning Training
Identifying collectibles depends on machine-learning models. We may use images and scans you submit, together with related labels and metadata, to develop, train, fine-tune, evaluate, and improve our identification models and features. We may use trusted third-party AI and infrastructure providers to perform this processing on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
Images submitted for scanning are used to recognize items and may be retained for the limited purposes of model development, debugging, quality assurance, and reliability. We do not sell your images and do not use them for targeted advertising. Where feasible, training data is de-identified and disassociated from your account. As noted in our Terms of Service, images or derived data already incorporated into a trained model may persist within that model even after the source image is deleted, and cannot be individually removed from a trained model.
5. Image Processing and Retention
Camera and photo-library access is used solely to capture and process the items you choose to scan. Images may be transmitted to third-party infrastructure and AI providers for processing, model development and training, temporary or longer-term storage, debugging, and reliability. Submitted images are not retained longer than necessary for these purposes and may be automatically deleted after processing, unless longer retention is required for model development, security, abuse prevention, or legal compliance. Images are not sold or used for targeted advertising.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers. With vendors who process data on our behalf — including cloud and AI infrastructure, payment processing (Apple and Whop), analytics and crash reporting, and collectibles-data and pricing providers — under obligations to protect it and use it only to provide their services to us.
- Legal and safety. When required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Brickify, our users, or the public, or to investigate fraud or abuse.

- With your direction. When you ask us to share information or make it available through a feature you use.
7. Cookies and Tracking
Our website does not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers. We use only cookies or local storage necessary for the site and app to function. If you subscribe on the web, our payment provider (Whop) may set cookies necessary to complete and manage your transaction, governed by Whop's own privacy policy.
8. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Images may be temporarily stored for processing or operational purposes and may be automatically deleted after processing, except where longer retention is needed for model development, security, abuse prevention, or legal compliance. Information used to develop or improve our AI models, and aggregated or de-identified data, may be retained as described in Section 4.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your location. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for cross-border transfers.

To exercise these rights, email us at legal@brickify.com. We will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
12.2 EEA, UK, and Switzerland
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the legal bases of performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services (including model development), compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where applicable. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where required, by additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
